Thanks for the kind words Louise and yes I actually saw the show. Bear was the only one who made it. I just hope he doesn't decide to open a TE. I don't need him parachuting down on my parade. lol<div class="comment-remix-meta"><a href="#" class="replyto" onclick="replyto('10','admin'); return false;">Reply</a> - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('10','admin','Thanks for the kind words Louise and yes I actually saw the show.
I was watching a programme the other night about two UK guys (Bear Grylls was one) who decided to go propeller gliding several thousand feet above Everest, something extremely dangerous, challenging and completely against the wishes of their wives/kids/families. It struck me how utterly selfish they were being in trying to attain what had been a dream/ambition for both of them. The engineer's business almost went down the tubes because of it and he was newly married too so it put a lot of strain on his marriage. Imagine the loss to the children if Bear had died.

That may seem a bit of a tangent but in fact it's not. It made me realise that in aiming to be a successful internet marketer, we all need to be incredibly selfish too. You have to have that drive, ambition and sheer 100% dedication to achieving your dream and reaching your goals. You have to be prepared to, as you say, put in the hours, get your head around the learning and essentially put life on a back burner until you "make it". You have to mix with other people who have that success mindset and enthusiasm and stay clear of the nay sayers who just want to knock you down.

I seem to be repeating this rather often to various people lately but in my opinion David you're one of those people who has those qualities and whom any aspiring marketer can learn from. That's no flannel, just calling it as I see it and the evidence is there for anyone else who cares to look as well.

Thanks for the help you've given me and for always being prepared to give advice when asked. Looking forward to seeing future blog entries.

Since joining Traffic Taxis a few weeks ago, I've noticed one thing about you that separates you from the crowd. You're one of the few admins that actually take the time to send out several emails to keep your members up to date on everything going on at the site. Not many others do that.

There is a lot of work involved in maintaining a successful site, and from what I've seen, you're one of the hardest working admins in the business. Keep up the good work, it's well worth it.

Wow, what a great comment. That is exactly what I am trying to give to my members. Lift their spirits and bring them in to the light.
David:

I'm relatively new to Traffic Taxis and have enjoyed the brief stay to say the least. I've been around on-line marketing and marketers for a long time. I won't profess a secret or some magic that many try to snare you with, but to a fault I am honest about my perceptions.

I don't know anything about you etc.... I have no personal knowledge etc....so I am not on the "payroll."

What I will say without equivocation is that you bring a quality to the TE industry (perhaps beyond) that has been lacking of late. It is spelled E.N.E.R.G.Y

As an ex athlete and a sports buff in general, everyone talks about energy. Everyone describes it as "THEE" magical bullet. You touch on hard work (and few around these circles can spell it, let alone do it). To do the work, and to reach those "stars" takes energy and hard work. Without knowing you, you appear to personify this mantra. I got so long winded I'll probably have to log back into traffic taxis...LOL....

I will certainly see how sustainable your energy is. It is absolutely key and I believe you are on it.

Best of luck,

Tom (of onequartlow.com fame)...well in my mind "fame"....LOL<div class="comment-remix-meta"><a href="#" class="replyto" onclick="replyto('4','Tom'); return false;">Reply</a> - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('4','Tom','David:\r\n\r\nI\'m relatively new to Traffic Taxis and have enjoyed the brief stay to say the least.
